DISCLAIMER AND DATA PROTECTION NOTICE: DISCLAIMER

The publisher is responsible for the information provided herein. The information on this website has been compiled with great care. However, no guarantee can be given that it is correct and complete. For this reason, any liability for any losses in connection with the use of the information is excluded. Simply using this website does not create any contractual relationship between the user and the provider/publisher. The following notice is intended by the provider to provide information about the type and extent of users’ data which is collected, and the purpose for which it is collected and used.

Copyright notice

The entire content of this website is subject to copyright. The unauthorised use, reproduction or copying of the content or parts of the content is prohibited. Please contact the publisher for permission to use the content.

Note on external links

Our website may contain links to other websites. We have no control over whether their operators comply with the data protection rules. Nor do we have any control over the legality of the content of these websites. We therefore decline any responsibility for the content of other websites.

Data protection notice: Collection of data

When you visit our website, the IP address of your computer is transferred to our web host. This is personal data that requires special protection. Our web host will know the name of your internet service provider as well as the date and time of your visit to our website. This data is stored in order to ensure the operational security of our website in the event of attacks on the website (attempts at hacking, DDOS attacks, etc.) and to allow us to take legal action if necessary.

No automated collection of further personal data (e.g. information such as your name, address, postal address and telephone number) is triggered by visiting this website. Personal data is collected only if you provide it to us yourself, for example by sending an email. Your data will not be transferred to third parties insofar as legal rules do not permit or require it or we have consent from you to the transfer of your data. Such consent may be revoked at any time.
It should be noted that it cannot be guaranteed that data transmission via the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) is secure. Sensitive data should therefore either not be transmitted at all or be transmitted only via a secure connection (SSL).

Data protection notice: Use of cookies

Cookies are small data sets that your browser stores on your local hard drive. Cookies may be used on our website pages. The cookies on our website do not contain any personal data about you. Cookies save you from having to enter data more than once, facilitate the transmission of specific content and help us to identify particularly popular parts of our online service. For example, we are able to tailor the content of our website precisely to users’ needs. If you wish, you can disable the use of cookies at any time by using your browser’s settings. Please use your browser window’s help functions to learn how to change these settings. However, this may mean that you will no longer be able to use individual areas of our website. Disabling cookies may result in individual areas of our website not being displayed in the way we intend, e.g. because other fonts or images that do not match the screen format are displayed. The information content of our website remains unchanged even if its appearance is different.

Data protection notice: third-party codes

So-called third-party codes are also used when programming our website.
These are specifically:

  • jQuery, provided by code.jquery.com; this program library ensures that the content of our website is displayed correctly. No data is stored.
  • Fonts provided by fonts.gstatic.com and their CSS file from fonts.googleapis.com; this tool loads the fonts used on our website from an external server. As these are not standard fonts, this is necessary to ensure that the ABG website is displayed correctly. No data is stored.
  • GoogleMap, provided by maps.gstatic.com and gstatic.com and their linked Javascript libraries. No personal data is stored.
  • Google Recaptcha module provided by google.com and its Javascript library. No personal data is stored.

We should point out in this connection that external Google or jquery servers in the USA may be accessed when these services are used. Unfortunately, we do not currently know whether Google logs this server request and makes further use of it. However, we assume that the Google Privacy Notice also applies in this regard. In any case, your IP address is therefore likely to be stored for a period of several months. The same also applies to Java script elements that could be loaded by Google servers for browser compatibility purposes (e.g. with IE9).

No data is currently collected by the “Google Analytics” third-party code when you visit our website.

GOOGLE MAPS

This page uses the Google Maps map service. The vendor is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
It is necessary to store your IP address in order to use the functions of Google Maps. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it will be stored. The provider of this site has no control over this data transfer. When Google Maps is enabled, Google can use Google Web Fonts to display fonts consistently. When Google Maps is accessed, your browser loads the required web fonts in its browser cache so as to display texts and fonts correctly.
Google Maps is used in the interest of making the presentation of our online service more appealing, and to make it easy to find the locations referred to by us on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of GDPR Art. 6(1)(f). If consent to this processing has been requested, it takes place exclusively on the basis of GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and Telecommunications and Telemedia Data Protection Act [TTDSG] §25 para. 1, insofar as that consent includes storage of cookies or access to information in the user’s device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Such consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transmission to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/andhttps://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/.
For more information on the handling of user data, see Google’s privacy statement: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Data protection notice: rights to information and erasure and right to object

At your request, we shall at any time provide comprehensive information about the personal data stored with us, rectify the data or, at your request, erase the data, insofar such data is not subject to a legal retention period in accordance with legal provisions governing the proper processing of transactions.
